I am an elected Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation, a member of the Council and (until mid-2020) Vice-President. Within this organisation I have given several lectures on the neuroscience of navigation and I convened, and chair, the Cognition and Navigation Special Interest group (CogNav), which aims to bring together practitioners and academics in the field of navigation.
